Vallepicciola is a premier winery in the heart of the Chianti Classico, one of Italy’s most esteemed and iconic wines regions. Hosts a 6,000-square-meter facility that emphasizes a deep respect for the territory and coherence with the landscape, ensuring a sustainable structure. Vallepicciola also offers an array of tourist experiences that immerse visitors in the authentic wine culture.
The estate is home to the native Sangiovese grape, with over 250 acres of vines. Yielding six grape varieties,(Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Chardonnay) while 4,000 olive trees and untouched forest contribute to the estate’s vibrant natural landscape. Vallepicciola embodies the fusion of rich terroir and refined elegance, crafting wines that capture the region’s renowned legacy.

Vallepicciola, Pievasciata Rosso Tuscany, Italy $20
Intense ruby red color with purple highlights. On the nose, it offers notes of small black currant, blackberry, undergrowth, and spices. On the palate, it is fresh and smooth, with flavors of cedar, and tobacco, and a medium-long finish. A blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc
Vallepicciola, Chianti Classico Riserva $31
Ruby red in colour, on the nose, complexity that gives us notes of flowers and ripe fruit, accompanied by the unmistakable black pepper. In the mouth blackberry and black cherry jam. Chianti Classico 2021 was listed by Wine Spectator in the prestigious Top 100 of the Best Wines of the World, taking 37th place. 100% Sangiovese aged for 24 months.
Vallepicciola, Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Vigneto “Lapina” $45
A perfect combination of soil, exposure and altitude make the Lapina vineyard the perfect home for the Sangiovese grapes that make up this Gran Selezione. Ruby red in color, intense olfactory profile, jammy red and black fruit, dried flowers, enriched by aromatic herbs and sweet spices. 100% Sangiovese from the Lapina Vineyard, aged 3 months in concrete then 30 months on large French oak barrels.
Vallepicciola, “Parva Domus” Cabernet Sauvignon $45
Intense ruby red colour. Soft vegetal and black fruit notes on the nose, with floral and spicy hints. In the mouth the apparent astringency soon gives way to an explosion of character. Long persistence. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Casuccio Vineyard aged 16 months in oak.
