Aromas of plum, black olive, caramel, graphite, and earthy loam. On the palate, it offers generous flavors of black cherry, cassis, cranberry, fig, anise, and espresso with velvety textures and noticeable tannins that create a fully expressed, sumptuous experience.

A fantastic winery making fabulous wines from Red Mountain. Flavors of raspberry, currant, and black cherry, followed with notes of toasted almond and vanilla. It fills your palate with smooth integrated oak flavors followed by a robust lingering finish. 100% Red mountain Cabernet Sauvignon aged 6 months in French oak. This wine is mostly Cabernet Sauvignon, with the balance smidgens of Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc and Merlot.
Two Vintners, Legit Cabernet Columbia Valley, Washington $32
This Cabernet Sauvignon, backed by 20% Zinfandel and 5% Petit Verdot, leads with blackcap raspberry and cigar-box aromas, along with fresh notes of violets and orange peels. Velvety tannins and modest acidity are the backdrop for boysenberry and grilled portobello mushroom flavors. This is smooth sipping, with an aged balsamic note on the finish.
Faust, Cabernet Napa, California $55
Napa-Coombsvile where temperatures are lower than the rest of Napa resulting in a brighter Bordeaux style version. Violets and toasted baking spice open on the nose, with savory layers of slate and cedar joining in the background. Concentrated, perfectly ripe black cherry is spiced with the wine's signature star anise and framed by fine, chalky tanning that unfold into richness on the palate. Mouthwatering freshness sustains the dance of fruit and minerality through a lingering finish. about 20 months with 25% new oak.
