Prepare for Thanksgiving Day
Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and it is truly Wine’s time to shine! This might be the most important wine day of the year (with a nod to Champagne on New Year’s Eve). Our next two tastings will focus on discovering the perfect bottles for your holiday table. We’ll begin the evening with three beautiful wines from Oregon’s Willamette Valley: Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, and a Single Vineyard Pinot Noir, followed by a rich, full-bodied Syrah from Washington’s Royal Slope.

Single Barrel, Scarline Syrah Royal Slope, Washington $55
The Scarline Syrah is a super dark, inky crimson in the glass. Aromas of berry compote and salami are supported by scorched earth and nori. The palate is full bodied and structured yet incredibly plush. This is decadence and elegance in one glass. Flavors of black currant, sweet tobacco and peppercorn lead to a bright fruit finish with incredible floral, mouthwatering length.
