@ Humble Vine, Saturday, January 11th

4pm -7pm

E. Thery, Gold, Brut NV, FRANCE, $21

You struck GOLD!! An amazing bubbly brut from France. The nose detects aromas of vanilla and white flowers. Texture is fresh and light, with flavors of flowers and white fruit. Great as an aperitif and perfect for your celebration's toast. The bottle is quite a showstopper as well!

Belle Pente, Pinot Gris, OREGON $21

You can’t go wrong with a Pinot Gris, especially from the Willamette Valley. The marine sedimentary soils of Yamhill-Carlton tend to impart a compelling savory saline quality and stony minerality to frame the apple and pear flavors and aromas of the delicious grape.

Tenuta  San Vito, Chianti, ITALY $16

Made entirely with organically farmed Sangiovese, this opens with vinous aromas of just pressed grapes, wild berry and plum that mingle with whiffs of blue flower and dark spice. The vigorous palate offers juicy wild cherry, raspberry and clove alongside fresh acidity and supple tannins. Pairs best with fava beans. Fa Fa Fa Fa Fa Fa…….

Patricia Green, Pinot Noir Reserve, OREGON $29

This is a blended with fruit from around Oregon, including many of the wineries prized single-vineyard sources. It has above average concentration and is nicely layered and also quite lengthy. This Pinot Noir offers refinement and presence, with expressive raspberry and pomegranate flavors, laced with fresh violet and orange blossom notes, building richness toward polished tannins.

Sobon Estate, Fiddletown Zinfandel, CALIFORNIA $24

From the good old Sierra Foothills in California, this classic Zin focuses on the black-fruit flavors and a powerful structure of tannins and good acidity; Dark cherry red and full bodied, it shows a purity of fruit and hints of minerality. It is well textured, with a signature brambly component exemplifying its mountain character. The aromas are reminiscent of spring lilacs and fruit compote with hints of sandalwood and subtle vanilla notes.
