Bianco – Rosso Imports

A wonderful guest in Humble Vine, Bianco - Rosso Imports joins us and describes an array of beautiful wines. Bianco Rosso specializes in premium wines from Italy and France but do have wines (and beers) from all around the world. They started right here in Seattle in 1978! (was there even electricity back then?).

Our buddy Dan will be here to pour and give us the secrets of these enticing elixirs. Dan is a great dude and has a great knowledge of wines, as well as music… so he is a perfect fit for Humble Vine! If you are into good times, then get here!

Tomorrow Wed. Sept. 11th 4:00pm till the bottles are dry!!!

Arendola Dirupo, Prosecco Valdobbiadene Superior, Veneto $16

Citrus notes are bright and tangy in this balanced sparkler, set on a lively bead and framed by firm acidity and notes of mineral, orange peel and anise.

Mosse, Moussamoussettes Petillant Rose, Loire $34

A “Petillant Natural” rose from France. Not made like champagne. But this is all natural, raw, frickin amazin’, bubbles. A blend of Grolleau Gris and Gamay. Completely dry with flavorful and vibrant strawberry and tart cherry fruit. Slow press without fermentation. Fermentation in barrels and vats.

Cardedu 'Nuo' Vermentino di Sardegna, Sardinia $19

Vermentino is Sardinia’s’ most important white grape, and this one comes from Ogliastra, the most mountainous and least populous province in the region. Locals drink it unfiltered, and we want you to too. Sea salt, sage, basil, rosemary, cedar, with just a touch of fruit.

Mannucci Droandi, Chianti Colli Aretini, Tuscany $16

Made with organically grown grapes, this opens with aromas of ripe dark plum, crushed flower and a whiff of vanilla. The juicy palate offers black cherry, smoked tomato, and a licorice note alongside fine-grained tannins.

Monte Dall’ Ora, Valpolicella Classico, Tuscany $18

Charming Valpolicella. Another youthful wine but this one is on the feminine side. Ruby in color with purple hue.  Freshly cut grass, rose petals, forest floor on the nose. Red berries on the palate with good balances between fruit and acidity. Tannins are rounded, fine and polished.
