Wednesday, July 16th

2-8 PM

Wine Tasting: $25

Vinovore, “Electric Lightning” Pet Nat           Ravenna, Italy    $27

Made from the rare red Longanesi grape. Expect aromas of dried cranberries, raspberry fruit leather, and toasted orange peels. On the palate, this sparkling rosé delivers refreshing flavors of crisp ruby red grapefruit, dry blood orange bitters, and a zippy, fizzy finish that’ll light up your taste buds.

Malabaila, Langhe Favorita          Piedmont, Italy     $22

Favorita (believed to be a cousin with Vermentino) is an easy to drink, light and fresh wine. It is said to have the 'sea inside' because in the past the Ligurians, who traded anchovies and salt, imported this vine into Piedmont. The nose is loaded with honeydew melon, citrus and wet stone. On the palate, it has a tangerine-like quality, the acid is present but not overly puckery.

Pieropan, Soave Classico       Veneto, Italy      $21

The only oak-inflected blend at the Pieropan estate. Aged in 100% used tonneaux, both French and Slavonian. Opening with aromas of ripe golden apples, fragrant jasmine, toasted almonds, and delicate acacia honey with a profound minerality that emerges as the wine opens. The textured, layered palate is a work of art, with apricots, baked pear, and hints of cinnamon and nutmeg leading to a mineral finish. 100% Garganega

Valli Unite, Bianco Cortese          Piedmont,  Italy      $23

100% Cortese from 20+ year old vineyards that have never seen chemicals, from our favorite hippy commune, Valli Unite. A group of about farmers raising livestock, growing grapes, grains and vegetables all completely naturally in southeastern Piedmont. Medium to light bodied bodied with crushed apple and melon with a fresh finish. A nice and easy summer wine.

Time: 2pm - 8pm or until the bottles run dry!
