@ Humble Vine

Wednesday, July 15th

HOURS: 2PM - 8 PM

Wine Tasting: $25

Villandria, Coteaux de Provence Rosé, Quatre Tours     Provence, France    $21
Rooted in Provence for nearly 100 years, drawing from a mosaic of terroirs across several villages in the Trévaresse, which helps give the wines their freshness, mineral line, and lift. A pale, bright style that leans into citrus, white peach, and delicate floral notes. It’s vinified in stainless steel, which keeps the fruit crisp and the finish clean and saline.

Olivier Pithon, “Mon P’Tit Pithon” Blanc     Roussillon, France   $24
Olivier Pithon is a biodynamic-minded grower and his wines are shaped by schist, marl, and a very Mediterranean sense of freshness and energy. A friendly little white built on a blend of Macabeu, Grenache Blanc, and Grenache Gris. Joyful, and very drinkable, with white flowers, citrus, white peach, fresh almond, and a light mineral finish. The wine is made in stainless steel tanks, which helps preserve its bright, fruity character and easygoing style.

Bonpas, Ventoux Rouge     Rhone Valley, France    $19
Ventoux sits on the edge of Provence with altitude from Mont Ventoux, which helps keep reds fresh and gives the region a reputation for Grenache-driven wines with spice, fruit, and structure. Bonpas’s Ventoux red is typically a Grenache and Syrah blend, styled for juicy fruit, soft tannins, and a smooth, velvety finish, with 100% stainless steel aging to keep the aromatics fresh.

Chapotier, Chateauneuf du Pape     Rhone Valley, France   $68
Chapoutier has been part of the Rhône story for well over a century, with the family history in the region stretching back to 1808 and the house becoming one of the benchmark names in Rhône wine. Châteauneuf-du-Pape is famous for its papal history, rolled pebbles, dry Mediterranean climate, and its unusual allowance of up to thirteen grape varieties. Showing high-toned and very pure flavors of fresh raspberry, plum, and cherry licorice, gilded with grilled herbs, bacon and smoked apple wood, with a deep, savory finish. Built for texture and age ability rather than obvious oak. Grenache is the main grape used in the blend, with a smaller proportion of Syrah and Mourvèdre. Aging takes place in concrete tanks for 15 months.

Time: 2pm - 8pm or until the bottles run dry!
