Hecht & Bannier, Coteaux D’Aix en Provence Rose Provence, France $18
Well balanced wine with great acidity and a refined finish. It has tasty rose water and chalk notes, with flavors of white cherry, peach, strawberry and cantaloupe. Fruity, crisp, fresh and dreaming of summer! 45% Cinsault, 45% Grenache, 10% Vermentino
Championship Bottle, “Intimate Strangers” Chardonnay Willamette, Oregon $25
Based in Portland, owner Saul rents space at a winery in Amity. The winery name is based on Championship Vinyl from the film "High Fidelity." Saul is a huge music fan and most of his wine names have a music connection. The nose of this Chardonnay is remarkably focused and penetrating. Then, you get a mouthful of light, zippy citrus and saline goodness.
Sensual, Malbec Mendoza, Argentina $14
This Malbec has attractive purplish hues in the glass. It is young, vibrant and ripe with red fruits and a classic Mendoza floral touch. In addition, due to the characteristics of our soil, some fresh, mineral notes can be found which add further youth and liveliness to this wine. The palate shows nice tannins, medium structure and an elegant mouthfeel.
Gangster of Love, GSM Napa, California $35
On the nose, enticing aromas of dark cherries, blackberries, and plums mingle with hints of baking spices and a touch of violet. The palate reveals luscious flavors of ripe berries, complemented by notes of black pepper and a subtle earthiness. With well-integrated tannins and a lingering finish. 44% Syrah, 28% Mourvedre, 28% Grenache Aged 37 months in French oak barrels.
