@ Humble Vine

Wednesday, February 4th

HOURS: 2-8 PM

Wine Tasting: $25

Zilliken’s “Forstmeister Geltz” Riseling    Mosel, Germany $28

Forest master Geltz was such a cool dude they named this wine after him. Honoring his stewarding life of the agriculture around the region. Aromas of tangerine, green apple, honeysuckle, lemon balm, mint, chamomile, and apricot. A barely off‑dry, juicy palate that balances a touch of sweetness with classic acidity. The estate’s cellar was destroyed during the WWII bombings of 1944… and rebuilt in 1950.

Zlatan Otok “Blanc”             Dalmatia, Croatia     $26

Dalmatian grapes Kuč, Bogdanuša, Prč, Maraština, and Pošip! Many of these grapes trace back to vineyards first planted here by Greek settlers in the 4th century BCE!!

Fermented in stainless steel to preserve freshness. An mazing white that clearly express local varieties and maritime terroir. Floral and stone‑fruit aromas, citrusy and gently herbal flavors, and a distinctly salty waft.

Two Vintners Grenache Blanc,           Columbia Valley, Washington $29

adding subtle creaminess and texture without overt oakiness. In the glass, it’s pale straw and quite aromatic, with notes of white flowers, white peach, nectarine, orange, tangerine, lemon, and lime rind, with a hint of sweet red cherry on the nose. The palate is crisp and medium‑plus in acidity, showing citrus, stone fruit, and a lightly mineral finish. 90% Grenache Blanc and 10% Roussanne that is fermented and aged in French oak.

Franz R. Weninger’s “Franz Plays”         Weinland, Austria $30

After making a successful Pet Nat, Franz decided to work on another batch. However, he was greeted with far less success: the juice simply refused to ferment. Franz, unfazed, left it as a rose in a Champagne bottle. A subtle earthy, slightly funky edge, and very fresh acidity that keeps the dry, zippy finish feeling clean and food‑friendly.

Time: 2pm - 8pm or until the bottles run dry!
