Landry and Fils, Bourgueil Rose Loire Valley, France $22
A Loire Valley rosé made entirely from Cabernet Franc, this wine shows bright red fruit tones of cherry and strawberry with floral and forest nuances. The palate is dry and medium-bodied with lively acidity and a crisp finish. It’s light yet structured and the style is typically fresh and expressive of the Bourgueil terroir.
Domaine Camille & Laurent Schaller, Chablis Chablis, France $32
The Schaller family estate, located at the heart of Chablis, crafts Chardonnay from a special Kimmeridgian limestone soils, resulting in wines of finesse and minerality. Pale gold with aromas of citrus, white fruits, and acacia blossom. The palate shows bright lemon and white peach, a saline finish, and lively structure. The domaine practices sustainable viticulture and ages the wine 10 months on fine lees in stainless steel to preserve purity.
Bertand, “Vents Garrigue” Grenache Languedoc, France $21
A Languedoc red centered on Grenache with supporting Mediterranean varieties, this wine captures the essence of the region’s “garrigue” — the herbal scrubland that inspires its name. It offers aromas of ripe blackberry, plum, olive, and wild herbs with subtle spice notes. The palate is smooth and medium to full-bodied, with silky tannins and a balanced finish
Mas des Bressades, Les Vignes de Mon Pere Costières de Nîmes, France $23
Produced by Cyril Marès from vines that were originally planted by his father, Roger in the 1970s. It’s a full-bodied, deeply colored red showing flavors of plum, blackberry, tobacco, and spice, balanced by polished tannins and warmth. The wine honors a long family lineage in winemaking and reflects both Bordeaux influence and Southern Rhône character. 70% Cabernet Sauvignon with 30% Syrah.
