Wine Tasting: $25

Banfi, Champagne Method Brut             Piedmont, Italy $26

Banfi was founded in 1919 in New York City! This wine is special because it has been made in the traditional Champagne method using a blend of Pinot Nero, Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco, this vibrant sparkler opens with delicate scents of yellow spring flower, white stone fruit and a whiff of bread crust. Lots of apple and cream aromas and flavors. Some yeastiness. Full and round-textured. Delicious finish.

San Marzano, “Edda” Bianco                 Salento, Italy $24

Pale lemon,  Dry Noticeable acidity intertwined with an enveloping and elegant warmth, savory and mineral notes on the palate. 90% Chardonnay gives finesse and longevity, together with different varieties indigenous to Puglia, that year after year compete to complement the blend.

Straw yellow with goldish reflections; mellow floral notes, peach and delicate vanilla hints pervade the nose. Generous in its elegance, fresh, delicate and mineral

Oliver McCrum, Suditrol Lagrien              Alto Adige, Italy       $27

Alto Adige is near the base of the Alps in northern Italy. Lagrien is the grape gown in the McCrum vineyards. Very bright red wine. Has an earthiness that doesn’t subtract from the bright red fruits. A great wine to transition into fall with. A zippy classic, medium bodied but fierce backbone.

Bertani, Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore “Catullo”  Verona, Italy     $55

Medium bodied in structure with elegant spicy notes of vanilla and chocolate accompanied by typical notes of cherry, sour cherry and white pepper. The palate offers the easy drinkability typical of Valpolicella and, at the same time, silky tannic structure and intense, prolonged aromatic persistence. The finish is fresh, soft and savory. A wine in the classic style, elegant, balanced, harmonious.

Corvina Veronese 85%, Merlot, 10%, Rondinella 5%. Aged 1 year in oak, then 1 year in concrete, and then 1 year in bottle before release.

Time: 2pm - 8pm or until the bottles run dry!
