Here is the Lineup!

Mercer, “Subsoil” Cabernet, Horse Heaven Hills  $19

This wine has aromas of ripe red fruit, blackberry pie, dried cranberries with hints of brown sugar and warm baking spices. Powdery tannins lend structure while maintaining elegance and ending in a long, lingering finish.

Newsprint, Cabernet Sauvignon, Red Mountain $25

This 100% Red Mountain Cabernet packs a whole lot of deliciousness in one heck of an affordable bottle. The palate is super juicy, full of ripe dark berry, black cherry and plum jam flavors; these delicious fruits are complemented by a sprinkling of tannins aimed to give great structure to this wine. Read all about it!

Two Vintners, “Legit” Cabernet Sauvignon, Columbia Valley   $31

The aromas bring notes of barrel spice, vanilla, herb, cherry and red and black fruit. Ripe, juicy, center-focused flavors follow. The flavors are full and bold, with burly but not unyielding tannins giving support.

Valdemar Estates, “Entre Nosotros” Cabernet Sauvignon, Columbia Valley $44

Also a Spanish winery, Valdemar Estates set up shop in Walla Walla. This Cab is serious and richly decadent, with expressive aromatics, it bursts with black cherry cream and cassis. Accents of warm earth, vanilla bean, and pipe tobacco round out the show.
