Here is the Lineup!
Alta Alella Mirgin, Cava Brut Nature “Laietà”, Penedes $29
The Laietans were an ancient Iberian (Pre-Roman) people that inhabited the Barcelona City’s northern part. Pale yellow with golden reflections. White fruit aromas with a floral aftertaste , notes of almond. Super dry yet slightly fruity. Tasty with a lingering finish. Grapes = Pansa Blanca (Xarel·lo) - Macabeu - Chardonnay - Pinot Noir
Ostatu, Bianco, Rioja Alavesa $19
Blend: 85% Viura, 15% Malvasia. Unassumingly pale in color, this wine over-delivers in flavor. Crunchy fruits like Bosc pear and green apple lead to a stony crisp finish with hints of talc and fresh herbs.
Don Ramon, Red Tinto, Campo de Borja $15
75% Old Vine Garnacha, 25% Old Vine Tempranillo. This dry, medium bodied red wine is delicious and easy to drink, with bright aromatics, supple red fruit flavors, hints of vanilla and a soft, smooth texture with balanced acidity.
Holloran, Tempranillo, Willamette Oregon! $22
Tempranillo from the Willamette Valley? Yes, it’s true. There is a small – though growing – amount of Tempranillo in the Willamette Valley. While Southern Oregon is making a name for itself growing big, bold, traditionally Spanish style Tempranillo, the Willamette Valley is quietly making a different style. This Tempranillo has dark, meaty aromas interspersed with black fruit. On the palate, you’ll get deep flavors of red and black fruit with a long finish and silky tannins.
Marqués de Cáceres, Rioja Reserva, Rioja $47
The king of the realm… Rioja! This red is lively and expressive, with cherry, tobacco, licorice, vanilla and allspice flavors mingling on a round, gentle texture that practically floats through the spicy, floral finish. 85% Tempranillo, 8% Garnacha Tinta, 7% Graciano
