WINE TASTING: WASHINGTON!

WASHINGTON WINES!!!

Here we are in our own backyard. An excellent display of outstanding wines from the East side of the Pass. Each bottle has deep value and big flavors. The Columbia River creates a diurnal shift, keeping much of the vineyards cool at night as they roast in the day. This helps keep a good acidity that makes Columbia Valley wines special and vibrant. 2 fresh Roses from our newest vintage, and 3 bodacious reds that are fine as frog’s hair! Come experience the great zest of Washington!

@ Humble Vine: April, Saturday 13th. 4pm till the bottles run dry.

Ryan Patrick, Rose, Columbia Valley $12

Hints of fresh grapefruits rainier cherry pomegranates and white flowers. Bright and mouthwatering with round fruit of strawberries, rhubarb followed by a crisp clean finish

65 %, Syrah 25%, Grenache, 10% Sangiovese.

Two Mountain, Rose, Yakima $20

This Rosé opens with aromas of strawberry, raspberry and hints of floral followed by flavors of cranberry, strawberry and rhubarb with wonderfully firm acid on the finish. Excellent rose from our favorite Yakima producer.

Kamiak, Rock Lake Red, Columbia Valley $14

During the mid-1800’s, Chief Kamiak of the Yakama Tribe initiated irrigation of the fertile Columbia Valley soil. Native American petroglyph on our labels is a tribute to the rich history of Columbia Valley’s true agricultural leaders. Plum and chocolate. Luscious raspberry flavors compliment the medium body of this wine that delivers luscious acidity and a velvety lingering finish. 42% Syrah, 32% Merlot, 14% Malbec, 6% Petit Verdot, 3% Tempranillo, 3% Cab.

Sonder. GSM, Yakima $22

This awesome G.S.M. (Grenache/Syrah/Mourvedre) blend is so cool. One of our new favorites in the shoppe. A bright soft color almost like a dark rose. But the full-bodied bright strawberry flavors have a lining of freshly cracked black pepper with a hint of vanilla. This wine is a gem all the way from Zillah in Yakima!

Dussek, Malbec, Columbia, $22

Dense and juicy, offering muscular tannins behind the roasted plum, dark chocolate and tart cherry flavors. This Malbec shows ample minerality, delivering a rich and savory finish that lingers. Toats Dee-lish!
