Living in the USA
American wines are on the table tonight as we explore a sampling from the best coast. Start with a cool semi-bubbly from Oregon. Then we will try a dry Riesling (not sweet) from Yakima! For our red section we will travel through Napa, Willamette, and Applegate Valley! All are extra delicious and “Local” (if you are from the east coast). Get on in!!

Anne Amie, Amrita, Willamette Valley OR $15
WE love this. Wine. The name Amrita comes from the Buddhist equivalent of ambrosia, or a wine of the gods. This wonderful white has notes of raspberry, pie cherry, strawberries and cream, baking spice, blood orange, and black pepper! She has a long, dry, acid driven finish. With a pinch of bubbles? Outstanding!
Two mountain Riesling, Yakima WA $18
This off-dry style exudes hints of hay, green pear, wildflowers and dust on the nose combine with incredible tastes of ripe citrus, green apple, and a hint of minerality. This wine lasts forever on your tongue.
Papa Ja Ja, Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa CA $22
This cool Cabernet is from a brand-new winery. We discovered them at an all-natural wine tasting and were quite impressed. Big California ripeness, bold spicy finish. Gotta check this one out!
Sineann, “Red” Table Wine, Willamette OR, $21
This is a proportional blend of all the red wines Sineann makes, mainly Pinot Noir with fair amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel and dashes of Cabernet Franc and Merlot. It's dark and spicy, the flavors well integrated. It adds up to a potent and powerful all-purpose barbeque red, loaded with black fruits and finished with a kiss of caramel.
Quady North, Cabernet Franc, Applegate Valley, OR $ 29
Fully ripened, this shows spicy highlights of cinnamon and hot red pepper candy. Plums and cherries are also here in abundance, and the wine sails into a smooth, satisfying café crême finish.
