La Farra, Rose Prosecco $18
Now that’s a summer Prosecco. A fresh and aromatic bouquet. Soft tones of strawberry and backyard raspberries. The mouse is silky and pleasing to the palate.
Santa Clarissa Pinot Grigio Ramato $17
Rich and full bodied. This Ramato is Pinot Grigio sitting on the skins for days instead of hours. This is a classic preparation of Pinot Grigio. Leads to a richer texture and a typical aromas of orange blossom and Sweetarts.
Pieropan, Soave Classico, $21
brilliant straw yellow colour with greenish hints; the delicate nose is reminiscent of almond blossoms and marzipan; good depth of fruit on the palate, nicely balanced by a zingy acidity that enhances its long length; 6 ‰; 12°. Serving suggestions: It makes an excellent partner for soups, starters, especially vegetable based such as asparagus, peas, seafood and fresh water fish dishes.
Fatoria le Pupille, Morellino di Scansano Reserva $26
A big scorer 93 -94 pts. respectively..
A beautiful Morellino (Sangiovese) with sweet berry and cherry character and hints of chocolate and walnuts. It’s medium-to full-bodied with juicy tannins and a delicious, round finish.
Sangiovese with an addition of 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel and this Riserva goes into oak casks for 15 months. There are floral notes and wild cherry capped by graphite or pencil shavings.
La Collina, Lambrusco dell’Emelia Rosato. $21
Certified Biodynamic 100% Lambrusco Salamino
The 'Rosa Luna' is a Lambrusco rosato with great structure. Notes of wild berries, raspberries and orange peel make this sparkling wine the perfect pairing for pizza and charcuterie. Refreshing, tart and fruity.
