Wed, May 11th

2:00 PM till the bottles are dry!

Here is the Lineup!

Höpler, ‘Pannonica’ Rose,  Burgenland $15

Now that’s a summer chugger if I ever saw one. Light salmon in color. Nose of ripe strawberry, balsamic, orange peel, and candy. Very dry and medium acidity. Flavors of strawberry, rose, citrus, and a hint of balsamic. Crazy complexity for such a low investment. Grapes = Blaufränkisch, Pinot Noir, St. Laurent

Höpler, ‘Pannonica’ Blanc, Burgenland $15

The refreshing hero for a balmy summer’s eve. A little vacation in every bottle, for the pure joy of life! Light yellow-green. On the nose we find spice and mineral, aromas of apricot, hints of roses and lime. Blend of Gruner Veltliner, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc.

Martin Muthenthaler, Gruner Veltliner, Wachau $32

This is a round and beautifully balanced wine, with rich flavors of yellow apple, kiwi and baking spice and vibrant acidity that cuts through. It keeps lingering and expanding, with a perception of sweetness that rounds up the finish.

Der Pollerhoff, Zweigelt, Weinland $24

Zweigelt is Dark, Big, and Booming with red and black fruits. A touch of earth and herb spice. This is a very nice wine maker from a historic wine region. Wine-land! Sounds like a place I would ride all the rides….
