Here is the Lineup!

Avennia, Rose $29

Grenache (70%) makes up the heart of this wine, with the rest Mourvèdre. Coming from Upland and Heart of the Hill vineyards respectively, the aromas offer notes of strawberry, mineral, sweet herb and a whiff of orange zest. The palate is fuller in style, bringing a sense of weight, texture and seriousness, while possessing more than enough acidity to keep it all together. It shows impressive length. Give it a short decant.

"The essence of the summer to come: baby strawberries, bright bing cherries, watermelon, wild herbs—thyme and tarragon come to mind—and a freshening acidity make this the perfect wine to enjoy with or without food over the coming year and more.” - Chris Peterson, Winemaker

Avennia, White $36

The Pearl—this wine’s namesake—is a very rare and precious object, uniquely created by nature. They can be hard to find but worth the search. Our white wine, La Perle, shares many of the qualities of these valuable orbs. Inspired by the rare and valuable whites of the Rhône region, this limited production blend strives for the complexity and beauty that our carefully chosen vineyard blocks bring forth.

Richly complex nose of white pear, lemon oil, honeysuckle, toasted vanilla bean, and orange blossom. On the palate this is slightly brighter than the 2018, with a lithe, silky texture featuring pear, white peach, toasted brioche, and crushed star anise pods. These varieties are known to age extremely well, enjoy now or age up to 10 years and longer.” - Chris Peterson, Winemaker

Lydian, Cabernet Sauvignon $27

Lydian was established in 2019 as a new way to experience Washington wine. The team behind the fast-rising success of Avennia brings you another delicious wine that serves as an introduction to a lifetime of wine appreciation and a fresh take on Washington terroir.

Full-bodied and rich, with black cherry, currant, dark chocolate, and fresh herbs. Great Washington Cabernet character and structure.
