OK WINES

Owen Kotler Wines

OK Wines specializes in natural and raw wines!!

"drinking a great wine should be like shaking hands with a mountain. You're drinking the very land where the vines grow, not the attenuated expression of a winemaker's ego."

“drinkOKwines”

is the reflection of our passion for wine
- after years drinking wine,
we found that the wines we loved most were made in a true reflection of their place.
And we wanted to share that with you!

So, with that said treat yourself and taste these awesome natural wines.

@ Humble Vine,

Saturday February 8th -

4PM till the bottles run dry

Domaine Riberach “Synthèse” Blanc Côtes Catalanes, Roussillon, FR 2015

This crisp and unique Southern French blend of Grenache Blanc/Gris, Maccabeu, Carignan Gris will be certain to brighten up the stormiest night. Simultaneously rich and bright -- lemon curd with a saline mineral finish. Certified biodynamic, fermented with indigenous yeasts.

Cantina Tibaldi Roero Arneis DOCG 2018, Piedmont, IT

This is an incredible find: an expressive, fresh Arneis from the village of Pocapaglia, all fermented in stainless steel and aged 10 months “sur lie” for a richness that balances out the mouthwatering acidity. Long lingering finish. Organically grown and vinted by two sisters on their 4th generation family cantina.

Fabien Jouves Malbec "Côt de Fruit” 2018 Cahors, FR

100% Malbec from a winemaker with a cult-following among sommeliers. Believing that “expressing terroir is the utmost importance”, his biodynamic/ natural Malbecs are each individuals — and this Cot de Fruit is the perfect wine for an early spring: youthful and fresh, lots of notes of violets and dark fruit, with silky tannins and a bright lively finish. Cassoulet, anyone?

Valle del Sole Rosso Piceno Superiore DOC 2017, Marche, IT

85% Montepulciano, 15% Sangiovese from the medieval village of Offida in the Southern Marche along Italy’s Adriatic Coast. Full- bodied and rich, this red from 4th generation Organic farmer/winemakers Valle del Sole is screaming for pasta night, but would pair beautiful with fuller-bodied meats as well.

Domaine Riberach 2013 Thèse Grenache Côtes Catalanes, Roussillon, FR

100% grenache, from old old vines (50-80 years), grown on schist soils. This is not the juice-bomb grenache you may expect from Southern France or Spain! The long, slow maceration on it’s skins has provided serious structure, and the fruit is deep, dark, rich and elegant. This wine drinks like a $100+ Chateauneuf-du-Pape, or perhaps, BETTER than one.
