Ciao Bella!!! For this tasting, we try all reds from around Italy. From chilled and bubbly to bold and intense. We get to see some unique grapes and some super-standards. So, put on some capris and get on down here!

Il Negrese, Frizzante Gutternio, Emilio Romagna Italy $16
Gutturnio is an Italian village north of Tuscany in Emilia-Romagna. It applies to red wines – mostly still with some frizzante – made from Barbara and Croatina. The two varieties combine to create a velvity soft, well rounded red wine with cherry like aromas. Whoa!

A fresh and fun wine from the island of Sicily. Nero D’Avola his rich in history with the Sicilians. A dark wine bright, zesty, cherry, candy notes. Super cool… Super cool….
Corbinelli, Chianti, Tuscany Italy, $17
This Chianti has 80% Sangiovese, with 10% Caninolo and 10% Merlot! Shiney ruby color with flavors of cherry cola, wild herb, and just the right touch of mouthwatering spice.
La Spinetta, Sangiovese, Il Nero Di Casanova, Tuscany Italy, $22
This wine has an intense red in color with bold cherry and spicy mint characteristics on the nose. Densely rich on the palate, this magnificently structured Sangiovese is rounded with a good grip and fine finish.
