Symphonic Aromas

Symphonic Aromas

Humble Vine will be conducting a symphony of aroma and taste with 1 white wine, 2 red wines, and one sparkling Lambrusco in tonight’s wine tasting. The white is an outstanding blend called “we sat by the ocean” from Mark Ryan. Then we then move into Rioja, a red wine from Northern Spain. Off to Argentina for the best Malbec in our shelves. Meeoow. And the cherry on top will be a brisk and bubbly Lambrusco from Italy!! You gotta catch em all!

@ Humble Vine Saturday, January 25th

4pm -7Pm or till the bottles run dry

Mark Ryan, Lu & Oly, “We Sat by the Ocean” White, Yakima Valley $28

60% Viognier, 40% Chardonnay. 550 Cases! Ripe citrus aromas, nectarine, and passion fruit. Fresh with lively acidity, the palate has warm tropical fruit, stone fruits, and white floral notes balanced with a touch of oak. We Sat by the Ocean is medium-bodied and elegant, with a lengthy finish.

La Bicicleta, “Voladora” Rioja Spain $23

From certified organic vineyards in the Navarra part of the Rioja appellation. The vineyards are dry-farmed and have an average age of thirty-five years old. The grapes are de-stemmed and fermented in cold temperature from native yeasts. A slight maceration before the end of fermentation helps to make a delicate and fresh wine; no oak is used, and the wine stays in concrete tanks from five to six months.

El Enemigo Malbec, Mendoza Argentina, 201i5 $29

Rich and concentrated, this wine offers aromas of black fruit, cherry and dark berry fruit on the nose followed on the palate by a full-bodied wine with flavors of spice, blackberry, black cherry, pepper and a slight floral character. The finish is elegant and lengthy.

Alfredo Bertolani, Lambrusco Rosato, Italy $16

Vibrant and well-knit, offering an appealing mix of ripe and candied strawberry, red licorice, ground clove and aromatic rose petal flavors, with tea leaf notes
