Straw yellow color with green hues. This wine has bright, fresh peach aromas and grass, with floral aromas and mineral complexities, on a bright, clean palate.

 80% Garganega, 10% Trebbiano, 10% Chardonnay

 

D'Antiche Terre, Greco di Tufo, Campania, Italy $19

Greco di Tufo is a DOCG of the Campania wine region in southern Italy. It is responsible for what is arguably the region's most prestigious white wine, made predominantly from the grape variety that shares its name. Greco di Tufo. Greco di Tufo has an intense straw color, with a dry taste that is slightly acidic, but not too severe. Ideal as an apertif, Greco di Tufo is excellent with seafood dishes, white sauces and antipasti.

 

Edi Kante, Vitovska Selezione, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy $29

 is a rare and ancient greenish-gold variety that is found predominantly in the region of Italy. An organically made Friuli white. Rather elegant and lean. Distinct impressions of flint, floral alpine herbs and white fruitsOn the palate med acidity, herbal tones, unripe peach. Let rest for couple of years, worth the wait. It develops a nice creaminess. Nice complexity of fruit. Very well balanced. Amazing minerality.

 

Prodigo, Nero D’Avola Appasimento, Sicily, Italy $13

Aromas of ripe dark-skinned fruit and a whiff of exotic spice lead the nose on this ­straightforward red. The medium-bodied palate offers prune, mature black cherry and a hint of star anise alongside dusty, but rather fleeting tannins that leave a tongue-drying finish.

 

Fattoria Zerbina, “Ceregio Sangiovese” di Romagna Superiore, Emilia-Romagna, Italy $19

This opens with delicate aromas of black-skinned berry, dark spice and cinnamon. The straightforward palate offers juicy black cherry, clove and a hint of white pepper alongside smooth tannins.

 

Morini, Nonno Rico (Grandpa) Sangiovese, Emilio Romagna. Italy $26

Complex nose of leather, cedar, ang anise., Soft and supple in the middle well made and approachable with a hint of sweetness. Elegant and structured, but never over-rich. Very nice tannins, the taste of violets makes it nice and gentle to the tongue.
