Arnaud Lambert, Saumur Chenin, Loire FR, 2016 $18

Bright yellow to deeper gold.  Pronounced minerality blended with white flowers and fruit. Medium-bodied and well-balanced, with fresh fruit flavors.

Fuller medium-bodied, dry. Ripe pineapple and gooseberry on the nose, this wine approaches Riesling in its expression. The palate has honey notes along with chalk, citrus, and nectarine. The finish is quite dry and aromatic. Don't serve too cold.

Sea Monster, Eclectic White Blend, Santa Ynez Valley, CA 2016 $17

Candied apricot and mango, Smooth Honeysuckle notes with a touch of minerality. Could pass for a California Sauvignon Blanc. let it warm up a bit and you will be rewarded. Beautiful flavors of nectarines and mandarin orange. Quite a bit of acidity on the finish but not unpleasant.

Stephen Vincent, Crimson Red, CA, 2016 $15

Made in the Rhone style, the 2010 Crimson has a rich nose of ripe, dark berries, dark chocolate, and a black tea mineral essence, followed by beautifully earthy ripe plum and blackberry flavors, accented with hints of cassis, and toasty French and American oak.

Chateau Pesquie, Terrasses Rouge, Rhone, FR, 2015 $ 15

Deep ruby color, intense nose with spicy notes (especially black pepper) and red berries. Mouth: This very balanced wine offers very round tannins and fresh berries aromas, with some floral and spicy flavors.

Quady North, Cabernet Franc, Applegate Valley, OR, 2014 $ 37

Fully ripened, this shows spicy highlights of cinnamon and hot red pepper candy. Plums and cherries are also here in abundance, and the wine sails into a smooth, satisfying café crême finish.
