Flaco, Blanco 2016 $10

100% Viura. Pale straw. Lemon pith, green apple and orchard fruit are framed by a touch of floral tone and mineral notes on the nose. On the palate, bright but weighty, with good persistence to the juicy apple and pear fruit. Finishes dry and clean.

Carchello, Red Blend, 2015 $15

Pleasant nose of blueberries, vanilla, coffee, dark chocolate, and licorice. Dry, high in acid and tannins. Grown on old vines producing complex flavors. Finishes with white pepper and black fruits. 

Bodegas Beryna, Blue Monastrell, Alicante, Spain 2011 $16

Sight Clean bright and intense, dark cherry red color with maroon edges and violet reflections. It has appealing notes of ripe and mellow red and black fruit that give way to some spicy, floral, and roasted nuances. Nice acidity, very pleasant velvety tannins and a looong finish. A balanced, fun, honest and round Spanish wine.

Tineta, Ribera dell Duero, 2012 $16

Deep ruby. High-pitched red berry and floral scents are lift deeper notes of wood smoke, licorice and mocha. Sappy, penetrating raspberry and cherry-cola flavors show impressive clarity and energy, picking up an allspice nuance with air. Finishes juicy and long, with supple tannins and excellent focus. This is the star of Toro, an Spanish growing region west of Rioja Made and aged for 20 months in French oak. Ample and deep a display of sensations. the wine’s aromatic complexity stands out with spicy fruit notes. The mouthfeel is extremely expressive, with a broad, frank, and deep aftertaste.
