Gouguenheim Bonarda/Syrah, Uco Valle, Mendoza, Argentina 2014
Medium to dark ruby colored. Shows the mineral side of syrah, with plenty of plummy fruit and hints of chocolate, violets and spice. Long and fruit filled finish.
Gouguenheim Malbec, Uco Valle, Mendoza, Argentina 2016
Bright dark red with violet hints. Rich and strong aroma, including scents of ripe fruits, plum, black cherry, black current, chocolate, and violets. Well balanced acidity and a long finish. Good structure soft tannins.
Qaramy Malbec, Mendoza, Argentina 2013
5th generation harvesters, father/son team working with 25 hectares. 9 months French oak. Medium nose shows black plum, vanilla, cocoa, white pepper, baking spice. Palate has sweet spice, more of the vanilla, cocoa notes, black fruit, blackberry. Smooth medium tannins make it approachable, modern style, more black pepper on the finish
Bodega Garzon Cabernet Franc, Garzon, Uruguay 2015
Deep, opaque garnet color. The nose is floral with fresh violet, earth and minerals. The palate is highly rewarding with blackberry, plum, spice, chocolate and mint. Medium body and pleasant acidity.
