So, set your alarm for Adventure Time @ Humble Vine!!!

Wednesday February 27th 4pm till the bottles sadly run dry

Monty Gravet, Gascogne Blanc, France $10

Mel and Janie Master, the team behind the Languedoc brand Tortoise Creek, have applied their penchant for finding good grapes at low prices to Gascony. This wine has more character than you might expect from Colombard, with floral notes and honeycomb richness. It's ripe yet balanced, with plenty of acidity to keep it palate whetting.

Holzer, Gruner Veltliner, Austria, $14

Just northwest of Vienna is Wagram, where winemaker Arnold Holzer and his brother Mathias are the fourth generation to run this family owned winery. This wine has a crisp green apple aroma, followed by big bold flavors of ripe green apples and nectarine. Gruner is known to be a little salty and a great wine for spicy foods and hearty green vegetables.

For A Song, Pinot Noir, Oregon $17

Red apple skin, fresh beets, mushrooms and cinnamon exude from the glass. Sweet dried fruit, sandalwood and Christmas cake come through with a luscious mouthfeel and long, silken finish.

Kevin White, Blue Label (GSM), Washington $23

This wine jumps out as a lively blend of Bing cherry, plum, and blueberry aromas with floral and spice elements throughout.  On the palate, these flavors are wrapped around a medium body with soft tannins leading toward a lovely finish.  A very enjoyable wine to drink now.  Pair this wine with food any night of the week!

San Felice, “Il Grigio”, Chianti Classico Reserva, Italy $25

Deep ruby red color. This is a Chianti that will take to age with grace and is in fact just beginning to show some very nice secondary aromas. The nose is intense and persistent with the typical notes of sweet violet and wild red berries. An austere, full-bodied wine, with succulent tannins and fresh acidity. Enriched with an aromatic complexity that originates from a delicate dosing of wood.
