ALL ROSE'S

Yes!!! 2017 Roses are in full effect. Get ready for the first "All Rose" day of the year, just before the Sun comes out. Stock your shelves with these new beauties. Who needs groceries when we have Roses? Were going to Spain,France, Oregon and Washington for our fix of these strawberry colored beauts'.

Come on out to Humble Vine , Saturday, April 14th 4pm-8pm.

Bodegas Olivares, Jumilla Finca Hoya de Santa Ana Rosado 2017

Bodegas Olivares is a century-old family estate in Jumilla, one of the next hot spots for Spanish wine. Most of Jumilla's grapes are grown on a plateau surrounded by mountains and some of the oldest vines in Spain grow here. This rose is sourced from various estate parcels with ungrafted vines. It is tangy, spicy and packed with red fruit. 70% Garnacha and 30% Monastrell. Pair with grilled vegetables, fish, soups, pasta and pretty much anything summer.

Montrose Rose, Sud de France, 2017 $12

Rose' makes for very versatile food accompaniment, which is the reason I poured a few at my son's birthday party. The most interesting was this blend of Grenache 65%, CS 25% and Syrah 10%. Little red fruit, with bubble gum and strawberries drive this little beauty of gentle texture and acidity.

Milbrandt Rose Columbia Valley, 2017 $14

This dry Rose is mostly Syrah, and 25%Tempranillo!! Aromas of ruby red grapefruit, watermelon, cranberry, and a hint of white tea. I like the fresh herbal and citrus quality that Tempranillo brings to the blend. When blended with Syrah, the two complements one another nicely. Bright lively acidity with a round fruit driven mid-palate, finishing crisp and clean.

Patterson Forbidden Rose, Columbia Valley 2017 $16

This year’s Forbidden Rose is a rich, almost decadent blend of some of the finest grapes in Washington State. Slightly off-dry in style, aromas and flavor of ripe berries and melons dominate, with just enough acid to balance and provide a long, refreshing finish. Enjoy chilled with your favorite hard cheese and crackers.

Stoller Family Rose, Willamette Valley, 2017 $19

Pinot Noir Rosé has been a cornerstone of our production at Stoller Family Estate for more than a decade. We harvest intentionally to achieve a style that is balanced and bright. Whole cluster pressed and fermented in stainless steel, our 2017 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir Rosé shows alluring aromatics of watermelon, strawberry and red fruit, and the palate displays tropical fruits with mouthwatering acidity.

Upsidedown Rescue Rose 2017 $24

MY FAVORITE ROSE IS BACK BABY!!!! The sleek new 2017 model…. Seth, the kind winemaker, gives a percentage of the profits to Animal shelters. Aww… This  rose is Nebbiolo sourced from the Horse Heaven Hills. This wine begins with aromatics of strawberry, guava, red cherry, and white peach. There are flavors of strawberry, red cherry, nectarine and starfruit. Award winning, palate pleasing, bomb rose.
